Creating SWMS Templates
We are in the process of updating our help guides. In the past few months, there have been many upgrades to the app, so we apologise if the instructions do not match your use. If you are having trouble location or using a feature, please use the in-app chat feature to get in touch with the Trade Trak development team.
SWMS Templates can be created and stored in Trade Trak for easy access in the future.
1) Accessing Templates
To access the SWMS Templates builder, when on your dashboard click your profile picture or name, choose ‘Company Settings’ and select ‘Profile’.
2) SWMS Templates
You will then be redirected to the ‘Company Settings’ page. From here choose ‘SWMS Templates’ from the taskbar on the left-hand side.
The SWMS Templates page shows you all previously created templates, allows you to view, edit, or delete them, and also to filter the results by words or the date it was created on. You are also able to create new templates here.
3) Create A Template
To create a template, click ‘Create’ in the top right corner of the ‘SWMS Templates’ page.
With this function, you can build a SWMS template from scratch. Start by entering a template name and who this template will be available to from a drop-down menu (company / subcontractors / both)
Then select what personal protective equipment is needed for your SWMS template.
Note: PEE items can be managed (e.g add, delete and edit). To do this, click on your profile picture or name, go to ‘Profile Settings’, select ‘SWMS PPE’ and create as needed. Here you will also be able to change the images for the ones already in the app.
Next, choose which SWMS items you would like to add to your report. You can also add extra item lines if they are needed, or delete the items altogether by using the trash can icon.
