On Trade Trak, you can add your own products lists to your account so that creating material orders or quotes is even quicker and more accurate.
For Burdens customers, your account will already have thousands of products stored.
To access the page, select ‘Products’ from the navigation bar.
If you only have one or two products to enter, you may like to do it manually. You can do this by clicking on the ‘Create’ button.
A pop up will appear, where you’ll be asked to enter various details about the product. All mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.
These details include:
- Supplier *
- SKU *
- Name *
- Unit of measurement *
- Your price *
- Product image
- Add new product specification
Click ‘Create’ at the bottom of the pop up to save the product, and it will be available for use next time you create a quote or material order.
To import a list of products, simply click ‘Import’.
Please note that the file needs to be in CSV format to import.
A pop-up will appear, where you will need to select your supplier from a drop-down list. If you don’t see the supplier in that list, you can add them on the Supplier Settings page.
Then you’ll have the options to tick whether or not you’d like to:
- Update products with the same SKU
- Use custom price margin
Next, upload your CSV file.
Once uploaded, you’ll be asked to match the columns in your CSV file to:
- Name *
- Name 2
- SKU *
- Description Extra 1
- Description Extra 2
- My Price *
- Category Name
Once you’ve matched the details, click ‘Import’.
To find an item quickly, you can favourite it by clicking on the star on the relevant line. This means it’ll appear at the top of the products list.
To delete a product, click the trash can on the relevant line. Please note this is not available for Burdens products.
To edit a product, click on its name. You will be redirected to the product’s own page. From here, click the pencil icon to edit details.
For Burdens products, editing some details will be greyed out as they are locked.
