Linking Your Stripe Account
Linking your Trade Trak account with a Stripe account means that you can take credit card payments (and get paid) instantly. Setting up your Stripe account is easy, and can be linked or started from within Trade Trak on the Integrations Page by pressing Connect Stripe.
Although after clicking Connect Stripe you’ll be redirected to a page for creating an account, if you already have a Stripe account, there is a button in the top right corner that will say “Already have a Stripe account? Sign in”. Once you click that button and log in, your account will be linked with Trade Trak.
Stripe Account Creation
The details you’ll need to have ready to create your Stripe account are:
- The country you are based in
- Your business’s website URL (this can include social media pages)
- Company ACN/ABN
- Business address
- Business phone number
- Bank details
- Account number
In order to create the account, it needs to be activated by someone in a significant management role within the company, who will then need to provide these details:
- Legal name
- Answer the question: “Do you own 25% or more of the business?”
- If yes, answer the question: “If yes, what %?”
- Job title
- Phone number
- Date of birth
- Home address
These details will be required for all individuals that own 25%+ of the business, as well as those on the governing board.
Once these details have been provided, you will be able to create your account and link it with Trade Trak to then begin taking credit card payments in-app.
